Jello Enemas??

Have any of you ever heard of doing these? What do you know about them?

The debate rages on over on Bondage.com, so I thought I'd inquire amongst a group who might actually know something legitimate, if there is such a thing in this department.

And no, I haven't got the slightest bit of interest in having one, thank you very much. I'm just still trying to figure out exactly what would happen.

Wendy, just jello? or jello shooters? (with alcohol)

Just jello sounds pretty cool. Any enema with alcohol as an ingredient would be extremely dangerous because alcohol is absorbed directly into the bloodstream when it is ingested this way.

    Just jello.

The consensus on other lists I'm on is that it would be mostly a breeding ground for bacteria due to the sugar content (unless sugarless jello were used), a possible risk to potentially undiagnosed diabetics for the same reason (one would hope no one would administer that much sugar to a known diabetic), and that it would just mostly be a nonstarter due to the fact that jello requires cold to set up, and that's not exactly what would be found in someone's ass.

Well... jello which is set up might be kind of sexy. Otherwise its just colored water. For me the most exotic enema I'd want is maybe a coffee enema... Otherwise just plain water.

but I bet it would be fun to slurp jello off your tummy. ;)

Well, if you used the sugared type, you'd get a good sugar jolt. I don't think it would harden much, even at room temperature, jello only gets what is called soft set. Halving the water might make it a bit more solid.

I don't see it as a big breeding ground for bacteria as long as you're regular since there is all kinds of stuff in your large intestine, and that is why scat play is dangerous. But I don't see it as likely to do more than cause a temporary increase in bacteria since unless you really inject it high after cleaning out the lower bowel, it should be released within a few hours.

The amount of sugar injected may even cause diarrhea and/or cramping in some people.

And it would be dangerous for those who have any blood sugar imbalance problems like hypo or hyperglycemia or diabetes.

Sugar free jello should be free of these effects.

If you hear from anyone who has accurate medical knowledge rather than just a bit of anatomy, blood sugar info, food chemistry and such, like me (meaning I know a bit more than average, but I'm not an expert) please let me know.

After reading the label on the box, I can't see anything dangerous about doing it with sugar free jello as long as you start it with boiling water to dissolve the crystals, and let it cool down before injecting it.

        >> I don't see it as a big breeding ground for bacteria as long as you're regular <<

That was my first thought, since a good BM or two ought to flush everything that's in there out, but someone somewhere said something about having gotten a bad infection from something else sugary stuck up her butt. I suppose it could go either way.

Cramping *is* apparently part of the effects, at least according to the person who posted about it on B.com, if not the main effect. She said it was the most painful thing she'd ever experienced.

I gather that someone asked Charles about jello enemas at the "Ask the Doc" session recently, but I haven't heard what his response was.

Putting anything with sugar into the vagina will cause a yeast infection, but I just don't see it as likely in the bowel unless you are one of those who's bowels only move once a week.

I know a lot about bowels since I have IBS and all kinds of things affect me. Enemas rarely penetrate all that far up the bowel, and most enema ingredients are washed out by the effects of the enema. If not, a clear water enema should take care of most of it.
